The general amenities of the Institute include
Open Air Auditorium with a permanent stage and green room facilities for a capacity of 2000. A TV with VCR is provided at the auditorium.
Two well equipped conference rooms that host several meetings of academic groups every year and there are two seminar halls which are regularly used by the students.
The Institute has 34,610.24 sq. m of RCC built-up area housing various departments, laboratories, library, computer center, Ladies Gents Hostel and other amenities. The Institute has a well equipped sports complex spread across an area of 14 acres. About 50 independent houses have been constructed to house the staff on the campus.
The water supply network at the Institute that receives water from the river Swarnamukhi about 2 km away, was developed by the Institute. Storage tanks of 10 lakh litres capacity, built at high elevation point, cater to the needs of the campus more than adequately.
A clinic with a qualified doctor, an Andhra Bank Extension Branch, a cafeteria on campus, a campus school upto X standard and three stand-by power generators make life comfortable at the Institute.

- Building up Industry & Institute interaction
- Arranges in plant training during summer vacation
- Arranges programmes to give awareness among students about over seas education, enterpreneurship etc.
- Arranges special lectures by experienced persons from different walks of life to help students in career planning
- Invites executives from industry for campus interviews
